As I get older I find that the amount of light in a room has a huge impact on my sleep. I didn't want anything permanently attached to the walls. This product met our needs exactly at a reasonable price. I hung them behind my more flashy (but not light blocking) honeycomb lampshades. They are perfect for what I need. Moving to a new apartment and 8 windows in the living/dining room. I haven't decided on a permanent window wrap yet, so I've ordered it for now.
