We have bought similar night lights before and they have worked very well. We decided to try this two piece night light to illuminate other areas of the bathroom. Compared to the night lights that we have already installed in the bathroom, the light sensor does not work as described. it turns on even in daylight. But the child loves the colors. so 4 stars!

I love these lights, I bought them for the first time almost a year ago on another site, I like the features, you can keep one color or change color, I would also like to suggest, These batteries are easier to insert, the first two ends and the middle last. I highly recommend this light, it's innovative and saves you having to turn the light on at night when you need to go to the bathroom.

Edited from my previous review: I bought it in February 2018. At first they worked very well and made it much easier to go to the toilet at night. Unfortunately, after the first battery change, one of them died and was thrown away. The second survived the battery change but got about 1/4 brighter, almost unusable. I expect he will die soon. Too bad it's a great idea but they aren't worth your dollar.

This is my second purchase; recently bought a similar item only in 8 different colors. I bought a pair on another site but then had to pay for shipping. There were problems with the battery type because it wasn't listed. Uses 3 3A. I didn't like putting it in the toilet but it worked fine on the counter. It turns on automatically when motion is detected. I definitely recommend this to everyone.

The reason I bought them was because I was staying at the residence and I woke up one morning to splashing water and thought my dogs were drinking water and it was 4am. I went to the bathroom and I had a wood rat swimming in the toilet. I lived where the muskrats swim in the rivers, not in your toilet. I'm so scared I left the light on and the bulbs are now $7 for a 4 pack. This light stopped my fear

No dimmer. Save money and buy the one without a dimmer. The blue LED became very dim after a few weeks. All the lights went out after about a month. "5 levels adjustable brightness" No, of course not. I was told that dimming was part of the color change. Well, 5 times 3 or 4 doesn't equal 16, and the picture only shows one red, so the claim is rejected twice. Customer service sucked. Do not endorse this"company".
