Under the sink installed two stage filtration system that we have had for over 15 years. The exit water pressure was very high which would mean poor filtration. For several days, my family complained about the "odd taste". I ended up going to Menards to buy new filters. and: 1) the water tasted much better 2) the water pressure was slower

I rarely give bad reviews, but it's hard to find anything positive about this product. Good price but terrible performance. I've been looking for a cheaper alternative to the KXMatrix Pb1 filter, but this isn't it. Filter washed according to instructions and the "filtered" water smells of chlorine. Smell and taste are identical to unfiltered bathroom tap water. Reducing the flow to a slow trickle does a better job of removing the chlorine, but that's unacceptable.

First filter. The water smelled worse than my existing old Diff brand coconut filter. smell of chlorine. A strange film also forms on the lips after drinking water. I've never had with other filters I've had that sold out as I bought more. Yes, I washed the filter for 10 minutes. Yes, my system works perfectly. My system only has this filter. Tried another new 6 pack filter, nothing changed. I'm not exactly sure what I have here, but it's not what I expected. Children say "odd taste" and "fu"…
