🔑 2007-2008 Acura TL Flip Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote (OUCG8D-439H-A) Review

Used remote control as a replacement for an existing defective remote control. However, body measurements are slightly different and parts are not OEM interchangeable.

Correct key, correct chip, incorrect frequency. I took it to a locksmith to have it cut and programmed. He said it was the wrong frequency, I thought they hurriedly threw me a key to buy a key from them. So I took it to three different auto mechanics to experience the same thing. I paid $170 for a key that doesn't work.

Key and key fob. The problem with this blank key is that it's too thick. As with a laser cut by a locksmith, the key remains in the ignition lock. The locksmith had to shave off the extra size of the key (both sides) to allow it to go in and out of the ignition. Leaving me with a sloppy looking key. This key cost me $34 and the locksmith charged me $100. Still better than paying the dealer $300 plus taxes. There may be other sellers here that have keys closer to OEM specs.
