No reliable lifespan I've seen is one month.

Señor was placed under my patio to protect it from the weather. The senior worked well for more than a month. Then the problems started. It would eat up batteries in just a week. Tried different battery brands, same thing. Now the señor is only eight months old and doesn't work at all. Only lasted a month. The problems were just saying many many times that it was a good buy. Nowhere can I find a warranty statement in case there is a one year warranty. Now I know why you see a base station…

I'm sure this sensor works very well. The problem is that I was looking for a replacement sensor for my Acurite base model 00611A3. On the Acurite website, the replacement sensor is listed as 00609A1TX. Enter this number on Revain's website and you will receive the transducer that was sent to me. Acurite 06002M or otherwise listed as 00592TX which will NOT work with my 00611A3 base. I assumed (stupidly) that the reference was to the correct sensor. If I had read some reviews I would have seen a

Can't connect to 00621w2

I'm a radio technician and couldn't connect this to my existing 00621w2. I followed all the reboot and hookup instructions, except physically discharged the capacitors on the 00621 board, which I didn't need to do to discharge the power. I tried all three channels and checked with a portable radio that the transducer is actually transmitting at 433MHz. Bottom line, the two devices aren't compatible, despite Acurite's claims. 00621w2 has no humidity function and no multiple receiving channels…

Absolutely right? Near enough.

I think anyone who uses these devices understands that accuracy can't be perfect. Yes, the basic units are read differently, sometimes side by side. So many variables. Just a bit of shade or, for example, a piece of rebar under a concrete slab under one sensor but not another can make a difference. A lot of food was lost at my place of work when the circuit breaker in our ice cream freezers tripped. I now have a 7 sensor system to protect fridges and freezers. I really don't care if the…

This is a replacement for the original wireless sensor model #00592TX that came with the AcuRite Deluxe Weather Center, model #01099, which is no longer manufactured. The old device worked well; but looked quite worn so i decided to replace it. I also ordered the AcuRite Solar Radiation Shield, sold here at Revain, which offers sun protection and more accurate temperature and humidity readings. It should also offer rain/snow protection, although this isn't advertised. It is great! (My old…
