Señor was placed under my patio to protect it from the weather. The senior worked well for more than a month. Then the problems started. It would eat up batteries in just a week. Tried different battery brands, same thing. Now the señor is only eight months old and doesn't work at all. Only lasted a month. The problems were just saying many many times that it was a good buy. Nowhere can I find a warranty statement in case there is a one year warranty. Now I know why you see a base station without a senor in every thrift store. The senior stopped working, so he donated to a charitable organization. At least they can sell the home base for $1 a watch. That's all this senor is worth $1. Do not buy! Just donate your base station and buy a new set.
