CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP!

I bought 5 of these tripods for my class. They have only been used TWICE and the screws have completely snapped off! These screws do not tighten and DO NOT hold the iPad in place. A tripod immediately fell over and the cheap plastic on the "quick release" clamp shattered into pieces! I will never buy from this company again. Absolutely TERRIBLE! DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Bad junk - don't buy.

WHO AM I: I am a video professional with 20 years of experience in low cost broadcast equipment. WHY AVOID THIS TRIPOD: Upon opening the box, the leg fell off. It's apparently glued somewhere and somehow they forgot to glue it. I thought "why not see if it still works" and put the leg back on and fastened it. Then when I tried to extend the tripod to make it taller, one of the segments wouldn't pop out and the other wouldn't snap into place. This is, without exaggeration, the worst junk tripod…

Slim but useful for hobbyists

I bought 2 of these to use in my A/V studio for use with HD webcam and HiFi audio production. They're a bit skinny and the heads wiggle a bit, one bigger than the other. When fully extended they sway in the wind outdoors, but in the studio that's not a problem for me. The boxes were badly dented, but the tripods were intact. Estimated shipping in a shipping plastic bag. I had to use the box. The tablet mounts are pretty good, but my 8" Winbook TW 802 doesn't fit vertical portrait mode, but it…

Nice try, just doesn't work

At first I thought I could do it, but after seeing the very very vague instructions I couldn't attach the iPad holder to the rest of the stand. The included small screw for attachment just isn't long enough and didn't catch on the rest of the stand. This is a terrible product, I'm sending it back.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Some little things

Better than expected

Pro: Exceeded my expectations. This tripod is super versatile. You can use short legs or extend the legs to three different lengths. Very light but tough enough for indoor use. Not for the street on a windy day. I felt that it securely holds my iPad and easily adjusts to the iPad now that I have a case for it. Good price, shipped quickly. Has a handy carry bag. Cons: There could have been more detailed instructions, particularly for attaching the iPad to the quick release. If you don't do it…

Pros
  • also understandable for old people
Cons
  • dubious purchase for older people

I thought and still think this is a good product I ordered two by mistake I wanted to return one. I then unscrewed the screws on the one I left behind and decided to use the other one I was going to send back but it has a couple of screws that unscrew to the right where you adjust them up and down or can rotate so whatever is important part of the tripod but other than that I think it's still a pretty good product they want, they want to explore dirtier hardware, some better quality nuts and…

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • weak set

The tripod wobbled when fully extended, but with an extension or two it provides a firm footing. It should be a good table tripod. The only problem I had was that the screw that attaches the camera or tablet mount to the tripod was too short. It was very difficult to align the camera or tablet mount with the screw and tighten the screw. However, after many tries, once the screw was started and tightened, it offered a good grip. This was usually a good value. The main reason I bought a tripod…

Lack of design and carrying case

This stand would be really good if it had a better mount. I bought four for a project and in order for the mount to fit snugly on the mount, a piece came loose from the mount. I guess it doesn't matter because it fits snugly now, but it can't be removed to use the tripod with anything other than a tablet. Another issue is that the waterproof carry case only holds the stand. The bracket must be carried separately. Finally, a note is included with the buyer stating they are committed to 100%…

Good iPad mounts and a handy tripod with carrying case

In general the product is not bad for the price. I bought two of these to use immediately. The iPad holder proved to be very successful. The tripod itself is not designed to be pushed. When I took it out of the box I found that one of the adjustments was loose and the bracket was crooked. When I removed the protective cap, the nut was gone. The same night they arrived I had to go to the hardware store and find a nut. Note. All nuts are metric. One of the spinning tops does not spin round, so…
