Works well indoors

This thing is fun to tinker with. It works well. Make sure you know how to power it. I have the recommended power plug as well as the PC power supply. It works great on both.

Pros
  • Heat sink
Cons
  • Big and bulky

That does not work. Already dead when arrived.

The Peltier module had a short circuit and was not cooling or heating on either side. Why sell something that doesn't work? Apparently QA was on vacation when this went into production.

Pros
  • Internal components
Cons
  • Slightly cracked

Ok - see pictures. Dear, it's been a week.

Here it is: heatsink+fan+peltier (tec1-12706?) + small piece of aluminum over the cold side of the peltier + foam insulation around the peltier + thermal paste. Together the pasta was a bit messy but that shouldn't matter. What it doesn't say is what TEC it uses, it looks like a tec1-12706 (Amazon has them) which fits the spec of 5-6 amps in the description, even though the description says 5 amps and 6 amps. It looks like they meant 5 amps but it can be boosted to 6 amps as the description…

Pros
  • Computer components
Cons
  • Only available in white
