ESP8266 @ 80MHz with 3.3V logic/power 4MB of FLASH (32 MBit) Built in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. CP2104 USB-Serial converter onboard with 921600 max baudrate for uploading. 9 x GPIO pins - can also be used as I2C and SPI. 3.3V regulator with 500mA peak current output. Measures 2.0" x 0.9" x 0.28" (51mm x 23mm x 8mm) without headers soldered in Light as a (large?) feather - 9.7 grams

Short lifespan for computers and accessories

Good product but didn't last a week. Unusual for an Adafruit product. Try fixing the error on the Adafruit forums. Technical support is not responding. return started.

Really usable development platform ESP8266

You pay extra to get what you really need - USB interface, battery management and tested hardware. I had a code example that was up and running in minutes.

Eventually works. best in Computers & Accessories category

There was a problem with a driver (Silicon Labs) running on High Sierra with my Mac (unsigned so it wouldn't load, although this was allowed) in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General > Allow), but found a solution with Terminal in recovery mode that helped. If anyone has a similar issue please reply to this review and I will pass the URL on. I have mine at a scanspace for reading temperature and humidity data and it has been working great for the past week. I will buyโ€ฆ

Adafruit does a great job with this set

As expected. Adafruit does a great job with this. Built-in LiPo charging, high-quality USB serial, standardized pinout. 0 complain. It was a great introduction to microcontrollers and their online manuals are great for learning. The company really deserves respect. I just got this top and bottom manifold model because I don't know what I want to do with it over the years.

Great little microcontroller, great price!

This is the second assembled Adafruit esp8266 that I have ordered from this seller. Both times the goods arrived quickly and at a good price! I had no problems with the first one I received a few weeks ago but this one arrived with all the pins completely flattened. Luckily the foam they were stuck in prevented them from coming loose, but I was absolutely furious when I opened the package and saw this. make sure everything is as it seems. I'm not sure if it was due to the seller's handling ofโ€ฆ
