Description of Adafruit Pro Trinket 16MHz Piece

ATmega328P onboad chip in QFN package. 16MHz clock rate, 28K FLASH available. USB bootloader with a nice LED indicator looks just like a USBtinyISP so you can program it with AVRdude and/or the Arduino IDE (with a few simple config modifications). Also has headers for an FTDI port for reprogramming. Micro-USB jack for power and/or USB uploading, you can put it in a box or tape it up and use any USB cable for when you want to reprogram. On-board 5.0V power regulator with 150mA output capability and ultra-low dropout. Up to 16V input, reverse-polarity protection, thermal and current-limit protection.

Great prototyping board

I use it for small project development/prototyping and then buy cheaper fakes for final products. It's a nice, sturdy little board that makes it easy to install and download programs. It should have enough space for a simple project with no/very limited libraries.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • I will add later

Very cool little thing

very cool little thing. I bought it because I needed to power some WS2812B LEDs and they don't seem to work well with Raspberry Pi. Bought this pretty little ball and it serves its purpose perfectly. Now I can use it for other projects because it's such a small thing, but it can do so much.

Pros
  • cute little thing
Cons
  • too stupid

Super cool and powerful little processor.

Muat Go to the Adafruit website to find a repository that adds a keychain to the Arduino ide. That hung me up for a good hour or so. Also, you need to manually reset the chip at the same time as uploading the sketch. Learn more about how the keychain interacts with the IDE to learn more. It differs from regular Uno/Mega boards. Amazing performance in such a small package!

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • For Seniors

Adafruit Pro Trinket 5V 16MHz

The Pro Trinket is great hardware. The sketch I designed on my Arduino Uno loaded straight into the sphere and worked as it should. The size is very small, can fit in very small projects. The only thought I had to make to upload the sketch was to first press the button on the board and then grab the sketch. I read that somewhere on the forum when I was having trouble downloading. Great board, I'll be getting another one soon for another project.

These professional knick-knacks are close to perfection.

These professional jewels are near perfect and of excellent quality. It's very hard to hurt these little guys. I remove the USB connector, the power-on LED and the 1.5 kΩ pull-up resistor for USB, and then the current draw in "sleep mode" is less than 1 milliamp (instead of the default 5 milliamps) . Long live Lady Ada. Remember that the maximum is 20 milliamps on the contacts. digital pins 2 and 7 are not available. Check out the specs. highly recommended board. good tutorials on the ADAFRUIT…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Angry

I was born in the 60's. think so

I was born in the 60's. To think that there is such a small processor that can do so much and cost so little. I'm a neuroscientist and needed a way to convert mechanical responses into a TTL digital signal. With three channels (3 analog inputs, 3 digital outputs), it meets the requirements without even hitting its limits. And at 16MHz, the millisecond resolution I needed was no problem. My sketch (program) didn't even use a quarter of its memory. I will buy many more of these, I know that.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Fading

Incredibly powerful, ultra-affordable

Such a cool little device. A fully Arduino compatible board that can do pretty much everything the Arduino Uno can. The only difference is that pins 2 and 7 are not used (they are occupied by USB), there is no USB serial connection so you need a separate FTDI interface if you want to debug or send serial commands, and there is no 3.3v output voltage. This model is only 5 volts. I've used it for everything from pranks at work to designing wireless remote controls for things around the house…

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Damaged
