Description of πŸ”Œ Adafruit Trinket - Mini Microcontroller - 3.3V Logic: Advanced Features for Electronics Projects

Adafruit Part Number: 1500. ATtiny85 on-board, 8K of flash, 512 byte of SRAM, 512 bytes of EEPROM. Micro-USB jack for power and/or USB uploading, you can put it in a box or tape it up and use any USB cable for when you want to reprogram. USB bootloader with a nice LED indicator looks just like a USBtinyISP so you can program it with AVRdude (with a simple config modification) and/or the Arduino IDE (with a few simple config modifications). Internal oscillator runs at 8MHz, but can be doubled in software for 16MHz

but it works and i'm happy. Now I can get down to business.

I finally got it working. It was a little tricky, but working with members of the Adafruit community got me what I needed. I had to solder the connectors, reboot the bootloader, buy an FTDI adapter and gnash my teeth a bit, but it works and I'm happy. Now I can get down to the actual task by solving the actual problem.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Obsolete model

To date, there have been no complaints about Adafruit products.

So far there have been no complaints about any Adafruit product. Regular customer for many years. They make electronics the way they should be made, drivers, tutorials, videos, community support. Their website has everything you need including archived drivers.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • All I have to add

Great little microcontroller, thought it needed a bit of fiddling.

Great little microcontroller, although it takes a bit of programming to set it up both in the Arudino IDE software and in person. I didn't expect to have to press a small button on the back before programming, so I scratched my head a bit. This wouldn't be an issue if I was just using RTFM, but I wanted to point that out anyway.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Little things

Great little board!

Great little Arduino board. I keep buying them for various DIY projects. This is about as small as you can get without laying out the board itself. Great support on the Adafruit website.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lightweight and easy to use but tedious to install

Can be used in a DIY project I am doing. Although I had trouble finding the right IDE. At first I used the latest version, but I ended up using a version below and installing the appropriate drivers.

Pros
  • Good construction
Cons
  • For seniors
