Very easy to use and looks professional

Great product! The kit even included a micro screwdriver and protective cloth case. I was able to salvage a good internal SSD from a dying laptop. I now have a 256GB external drive that works great. FYI, I had to format the drive before using it, but I knew that before purchasing this item.

MISNAMED. TWICE for hard drive accessories

WRONG LABELING Good product. except the wrong item. Returned because the 'key' of the SSD I ordered has 'B+M' (which seems correct on the label) but the item was 'B ONLY'. Very quick response; received the goods, the label shows the correct indication "B+M". but the content is "ONLY B" AGAIN. Sounds like a quality control issue. Wrong box labels for a seemingly excellent product.

Turns my old M.2 drive into an external

I bought this to house an old M.2 SSD that came out of my laptop when I was replacing it with a larger one M.2 replaced . My plan was to use it to clone the OS to a new drive, but in the end I just decided to use a recovery flash drive to do a clean install of Windows 10. So now I have this case with my old M.2 SSD as an external drive for my laptop. I thought the quality of the case was good, it's well made, but I had an issue with the price, so I'm deducting 1 star. I paid โ‚ฌ19.99 for mine. Iโ€ฆ

Great product for computers and accessories

I bought a Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA M.2 Type 2280SS Internal SSD - CT500MX500SSD4 to expand my already exhausted 256GB SSD. I first installed the MX500 in this external M.2 USB adapter and then downloaded the FREE Acronis True Image software to my laptop from the web link provided. Surprisingly, this FREE software comes bundled with the MX500. Using the Clone Disk option, it took about 15 minutes to copy the contents of my 256GB SSD to the new drive. I installed and booted the MX500 onโ€ฆ

Very easy installation

For the price this was a great buy. The case is exactly what I wanted, very thin durable aluminum case and light weight. Make sure your SSD matches the case description. I had to search through dozens of m.2 cases to find one for a B&M keyed SSD. I have an Acer Aspire 5 A515-52-526C. I replaced m.2 SATA SSD with PCIe m.2. I put an old m.2 in a case to use as external storage. It is easy to disassemble and insert the SSD. They even included a tiny screwdriver and extra screws. A USB cable andโ€ฆ
