Worked once Memory card Accessory

Used Unit tried once again a week later on 2 different computers and neither could recognize it. Both computers reported problems with USB devices and yes for the techies, I double checked my drivers which had no problems and no updates.

Pros

Cons
  • Uncertain

Extension cable suitable for computers and accessories

XQD card reads without problems, works as expected. Cons For a few bucks I would have preferred a longer and stronger cable but not as flimsy. I had to buy a cable to extend it to connect to my tower. Make one option for longer cables and another for shorter ones. Not everyone works on a laptop.

Pros
  • Surprisingly
Cons

ultra-fast XQD reader with USB 3.1 to USB-C adapter

I was looking for a USB-C compatible XQD reader to replace my existing USB-C reader (which has a very short Cable). Not only does this reader run as fast as my other "native USB-C" XQD reader, but its cable is (slightly) long enough that it can be plugged into the back of my monitor instead of dangling around. I wish it had a longer cable, but overall build quality is good, performance is great, and the price is premium.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • poorly designed

Works with MacBook Pro with USB 3.0 ports OS version 10.15.7

Just started using a camera that recommends an XQD memory card. I didn't know I would have to buy a card reader. I found this on Revain and installed it on my CPU and the computer saw the XQD card without loading the driver. Photos load very quickly. My MacBook is new and only has USB 3.0 ports. Operating system version 10.15.7. This little gadget is great! Highly recommended. I don't know how well this card reader works on older MacBooks.

Good price in the Computers & Accessories category

I bought this because I needed a card reader that would allow me to install a firmware update on my Nikon Z6 camera. I originally wanted a CFExpress reader, but all of them were more than double the price. Since one of my cards was an XQD card, I just went with it. It works right out of the box and is very fast. I just want readers like this to be able to read CFExpress too. But it's still good value for money and allows me to update the firmware even if I just use the camera's USB capabilities

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Very expensive

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I'm writing a review after 15 months of use. There's something on the back of this reader that sticks to the 64GB XQD cards I've used. When I pulled the card out of the reader, it got stuck and tried to pop out. The problem started a few months ago, but until today it has not been a serious problem. I wouldn't pull it out of the reader no matter how carefully I tried. When it finally came out, I saw that part of the card's plastic casing had been ripped off. Obviously I can't use the card…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • It's hard to remember but it was
