I was ready to write a bad review but here.

Like many others had problems installing SSD then I looked at pictures and instructions :) I bought this to work around an Optiplex 3070 problem. M.2. Socket only supports PCie 2.0, not 3.0, so speed was limited to around 1700MB. I installed an SSD on the adapter and the system did not see it. Bios didn't report it either. Since this was a clean install I figured I'd try to see if Windows Setup saw it before returning it. I reinstalled the adapter and it worked great. The speed is now 3400 MB.

Easy installation on memory card Accessory

Purchased to install an NVMe drive in my server. The card came with long and short clips and works perfectly. The only gripe I have is that it's easy for someone to get confused trying to secure M.2 by trying to screw it in from the top like an M.2 slot on a motherboard. I've attached an image to see it better; The notch on the M.2 card is actually in the groove of the connector, and then screw it in from below to secure it.

Got 2 and it works Perfect

This adapter works perfect. And anyone who says otherwise has made a mistake. All you have to do is plug the drive into the adapter, then install it in the slot and turn on the computer, then go to Disk Management and do whatever you need there. If you have problems with this adapter, you really have to research 1 1/2 minutes or read the brochure and the problem is solved. The speed depends on the capabilities of the motherboard. But in any case, the card takes up very little space and there…

Check the PCIE slots

Item arrived as described. Well packaged, minimalist design. All hardware was included, even a very basic little screwdriver. The NVMe drive is firmly seated, but without resistance. Screw the thread onto the back of the circuit board. So attach the knurled nut to the groove on the NVME board and hold it in place by tightening the screw on the back of the board. Also, be careful and check the available PCIe slots. After putting everything together I found that I only had one x1 slot left and…

Very important. - Memory card adapter

It came packaged in a sealed plastic bag with everything I needed including a tiny M2 screwdriver. No configuration is required since it's just an adapter, and the drive booted into Windows with good CrystalMark speeds (3.3 GB/s read and write) as expected. I bought this to fix an issue with a Gigabyte z390 Aorus Pro motherboard where the M2 drive would randomly stop being recognized resulting in a blue screen. The problem was intermittent so I won't know for a few weeks if this actually fixed…

Simple and does its job well

As the name suggests, it's just an adapter that just connects the 4 PCIe lanes of the M.2 NVMe SSD to the 4 PCIe lanes of your motherboard , it has nothing to do with drivers. It worked fine for me, no problems. However, it took me a while to figure out how to fix NVMe. There's a little notch in the brass nut, you put the NVMe in there, push the whole thing down, and then put a screw on the other side of the board to lock it in place. If you are not using Windows 10, it may not work. NVMe is…

Speed boost for 8 year old desktop

Bought to speed up old home desktop (AMD A10 CPU - Gigabyte AM3 MB) for photo editing (Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS4). It has a SATA SSD, but performance was okay. I ran the test on a SATA SSD and showed 350MB/s read and 300MB/s write. I also have a spinning hard drive that maxes out at 120MB/s (read and write). I bought this card and a 250GB Kingston NVME M.2 SSD. This is an old PC. I wanted to keep costs down. The total for both was less than $50. My OS is Win 10 64bit. The card and SSD were…

works as expected at over 3000 MB/s

I think it's great value for money. I already had a 1TB drive installed in the motherboard's only m.2 slot, so I decided to give it a try. I was skeptical about the speed, but the test went well. The only problem I had was that after installing the processor (i5 6600K) the onboard video stopped working for some reason (my installation is atypical). My system is a bit outdated so I have no idea what caused it. I don't need embedded video so this wasn't a big problem. I use it with Silicon Power…
