Works with USB-C external hard drive

Powered my LaCie USB-C external hard drive perfectly. High transmission speed. Still connected after a few hours and moving several TB of footage. Served my purposes!

External displays are working again!

Worked great with my docking station. My secondary displays are working again (my USB-C port on my laptop stopped working).

Good but does not work with Docking Station

This product is suitable when you need a basic adapter. Nowadays the laptop has a USB Type-C port, but my docking station has a USB port. So I bought it for that, but that didn't make it work. The product description already states that it may not work, so no complaints. I ended up using it with my Android phone to the USB port in the car

Compatible with most functions of a USB-C hub, except for sending video to monitors

I bought this USB-C adapter to connect my Surface Pro 3 to a USB-C dock so I can connect my laptop to dual monitors. However, this product does not work in this use case. I tried this on my Dell laptop. It still does not work. Note. * Suggest to search the DisplayLink website for USB Type C Docks that support DisplayLink.

Works perfectly! fits computer cable adapter

I used the adapter to connect the docking station to my (11 year old) Windows 10 laptop. The docking station has a USB-C cable, and the adapter allowed me to connect it to my laptop's standard USB-A port. It worked right away, allowing me to use the dock and two external monitors. The video transmission is fantastic and 2 adapters are supplied. Great bang for your buck and you can't beat Prime's 2 day shipping. If this worked with my old laptop then no one else should have the problem!
