I've bought a few of these units - so far they all work pretty well with no noticeable input lag. The picture is as good as it gets considering what those old consoles were made for and what TVs do today.

This device works much better than I can imagine. Very good picture quality. Forgive my skepticism, but I can't imagine this device lasting long in this heat. I just hope he doesn't let him down during the service.

It is 'plug and play' exactly as described. Unlike other products, there is no software to install or download. I just plugged one end into my very old camcorder and the other end into my computer and hit the play button. Simple, light, works perfectly and not overpriced like others.

I'm not very tech savvy but it was easy to install. It's been years since I haven't been able to use my VCR. I still have some tapes that I don't want to lose. I tried the converter but it didn't work. I was only able to plug in the connectors and everything is working fine now. Thanks very much!

When my kids were much younger, my wife and I would take films home and then record them on a VCR (which was state of the art technology at the time). We kept a VCR and cassettes for years but couldn't play them on our current TV as it only has HDMI inputs. I tried to connect my n64 to it; and all i see is a really dark red screen which is completely buggy and messed up and it only happens on one game the others don't even register the sound fades in and out too and it's pathetic quality. I don't usually give bad reviews, but this is absolute bullshit. there is nothing good about it

After purchasing a new smaller cable box we now have room for our larger, older multi format DVD player with no HDMI output. We have an HDMI hub/switch to select different devices. This was the only thing I saw on the Revain that converted the RCA output to HDMI. It was easy to set up. All cables are long enough for flexible installation.
