Fits Computers and Accessories

I connected it to my computer but it didn't work. I had to read the instructions :( to find out there was a driver to download. Once I downloaded the driver it worked great! It's small enough, light weight and does what it says on the tin. Glad my monitor is working again.

Good adapter - read details/know what to expect

Bought to better switch between work laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad T570) and school laptop (Dell Inspiron 15 5000). I have 2 monitors, a wired USB keyboard and a wired USB mouse. Before I got this I could only use one of my monitors with a school laptop as it only has one HDMI port and 3 USB ports (2 USB 3.0 ports - important for this product!). I can now use both monitors with both machines, and as an added bonus, I don't have to keep swapping out my keyboard and mouse separately since I have 3โ€ฆ

Allows you to use your VGA monitor with new computers

This small, multifunctional USB device allows me to use my old VGA monitor with my new computer that doesn't have a VGA port. Acer monitor, MSI computer. The USB cable should be longer to provide a better position to access the SD slot, etc.; The instructions are in small print with small pictures (I have a magnifying glass so I could work around this issue). Easy to set up and appears to be made from quality materials. GTG - works as advertised.

Not a fan of Type-C connectors

I didn't know these were USB-C connectors or I wouldn't have bought it. I haven't had any luck with them to be honest. You have to fiddle with them to make them fit properly. The USB just fits in and fits snugly, it doesn't, at least not on the few laptops I've tried them on. It's like slipping a matchbox under a cassette to hold it in place. (I just got old). Connecting peripherals didn't work for everyone either. I have 2 monitors, I use HDMI for one and a DB9 connector for the other, theyโ€ฆ

Review updated - VGA part flickers too much

Update after 6 months After a few months of use, the monitor connected to this adapter started to flicker several times a day. Now after 6 months it flickers quite often, about once every few minutes. And the flickering lasts 3 to 10 seconds. When the flickering got really annoying, I tested it on a few other laptops to make sure it wasn't just the laptops I was using that were causing the issue. The extra USB ports still work fine, but I didn't buy them to make 1 USB 2. Don't think about itโ€ฆ
