BMCC4K increased performance!

Works well with my BMPCC4K SmallRig Cage. Sony's NP-f batteries offer plenty of recording time without having to spend a fortune on VMount batteries.

Simple and effective

Heavy duty simple latch extension for Tilta cages but possibly all cages as they all have the same bolt holes. I've tried not to be rude to mine but changing the batteries on set isn't a slow process and so far nothing has broken so definitely a good buy!

Great as a backup! for adapter

I only used this for a short time before switching to a V-mount battery and plate rail mount but it worked great and is a fantastic option for saving money and still having one use battery watch. I hooked this up to an NPF970 battery and it lasted 2 hours on the record test.

the display is not accurate, but doses the work very well

Me use this with f970 batteries and it improves the battery life of my BMPCC4K. However, the LED indicator is not accurate, it randomly changes color from red to green. At least it stays green when the battery is actually fully charged, if it's solid red it means the battery isn't charged, maybe 90% or maybe 5%, better than nothing. I really hope it's a "dead battery". Display telling me that my battery will be empty after a few minutes. But the f970's battery life is long enough that I don't…

AVOID LEGAL ACTION!

I have 2 Black Magic 4Ks and have been using 2 of these adapters for about a month with no problems. Anyway, we were filming a wedding last weekend and they BOTH decided to travel. None of them work with cameras even after changing 6 different NP batteries. We put in a battery, the indicator flashed for half a second and then went out. This happened to us JUST before the ceremony started and my whole world started spinning thinking I was letting 2 cameras die every 20 minutes because god knows…

Decent and affordable battery solution for BMPCC4K

This is probably the cheapest way to power this camera with NP-F batteries as an alternative to the supplied LP-E6 battery. You can buy a cheaper small plate which I use with my a6500 camera but I'll tell you in a moment why this is the best solution for this camera.
