This device was just what I needed to connect my MacAir to a large monitor for better viewing while working. At first the device didn't seem to work. However, customer service responded to my email very quickly and resolved the issue. It was a question of the right instructions.

This is a very well made adapter with good connector ends and connectors. Connects perfectly to my Samsung S10 where it immediately finds the adapter and then sends the video to my screen and then turns the phone into a touchscreen, just amazing. I love this device. There are no cons, I can't think of one that makes me very happy with the purchase.

(I just bought this cable and it doesn't work. I have a phone with a Moto G pen and the manufacturer claims it works with all Motorola phones.) Error, I made a mistake reading the list of compatible devices. I mistakenly thought I read that it was compatible with my phone. I made a mistake and it was listed as incompatible. I changed to 5 stars. It's not the seller's fault.

I have my USB-C to HDMI adapter. Due to issues with other products when trying to connect my MacBook Pro to my monitor, I wasn't sure if this cable would solve the problem.
