I know it is the adhesive that smells, but I bought them a month ago and have been airing them out for my wedding, but they still smell like fish. Quite a few of them had holes punched through them, and they left pieces of residue all over. Some were frayed and a couple hard red staining on them.

These petals were terrible. The smell was somewhere between ammonia and sulfur. I know other reviewers mention the smell and say you just have to let them air out. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I spent hours about 2 weeks before my wedding pulling these apart and letting them air out. My hands stunk of the smell even after several washings. I sprayed the petals with febreeze and tossed them around while airing out several times. Nothing helped. I'd put them outside to air out and store them in another

I bought two for my wedding & they were absolutely beautiful. Some people thought that they were real. They are shimmery silk like. The only thing I didn't like about these was the smell but a little scent of lavender or whatever scent of your choice will cover it:)

I couldn't be happier with these! The quantity and quality was perfect. Funky smell when separating them. I just spritzed with a linen and lavender essential oil spray a couple times which ended up adding fragence to the entire wedding!

Bought these for my wedding to use along the aisles! Did the job! They do have a funky smell and a pain to separate them but great for the price!

I used these to go down the aisle at my wedding. I bought them in the shade of ivory. There is way more flowers than I thought there would be. You will only need one of these. Good way to save some money. They do have a little weird of a smell. I sprayed my down with some perfume and it went away. You do have to take the time to separate all the petals which is a little time consuming, but worth it for the cost savings.
