Cooler Master PWM Hub: 6-Port Addressable RGB Lighting with PWM and Magnetic Backplane Splitter - 5V/3PIN RGB Case Fan Hub Adapter PWM ARGB Addressable Fan - Ultimate RGB Control Hub Review

The motherboard does not have a 3-pin RGB connector. Instead it has 4 pins and when I try to convert it with an adapter it doesn't work. I needed a 3 pin connector otherwise the 4 pin JRGB connector will not work. It worked partially with a fan. I'm not sure if it's the board or the connector, but there seems to be a conflict somewhere. I will try another brand than COOLERMASTER. There are conflicts between different brands, at least on my board. It looks like Thermaltake, Cooler Master and MSI

It would be perfect if I didn't need an extension to connect RGB cables. Plenty of connectors for all my fans and RGB gear, but the ARGB connectors on EKWB gear won't fit without extension cords.

The hub works but the heads of the 3-pin Argb connectors need to be trimmed. The Argb holes aren't big enough for my Lian-Li cable heads. If you don't mind separating the plastic of your cables, then it works. Just a design oversight by Coolermaster.

I followed the instructions on the Cooler Master website and was unable to calibrate or change the fan speed. One of the main reasons I bought it was the ability to not only control all of my fans, but control them as well.

I am currently using a Cooler Master hub connected to the Argb header on my Gigabyte Aorus Elite x570 motherboard to drive all 7 of my Argb fans with no issues! I use OpenRGB with the Artemis RGB manipulation plugin as every RGB software I've used has been absolute rubbish. I had no problem connecting the figure to the hub itself using standard RGB connectors as well as Cooler Masters MF120 fans, which I expect will fit.

It's hard to find a PWM/ARGB hub that supports 6 fans and is so cheap. It's magnetic, so mounting it on a steel chassis is very convenient. It also works well with Gigabyte Fusion 2.0 and probably other RGB lighting control software as it uses standard connectors. A few notes: there is one control input for PWM and one for ARGB, which means all fans connected to the hub will be the same color and speed. So plan accordingly. Thermaltake looked good but was too fat and didn't have an RBG. Deepcool also had a nice option that was too fat and also without rbg. The Coolermaster was the thinnest and fit my side panel perfectly, the magnetic handle is very comfortable and makes assembly easy. It also controls rbg! I should have started here!
