I bought several rolls of this wood effect vinyl contact paper to transform an old table and add a solid look to new furniture. The wood finish looks great and gives me the look I was looking for. The product applies easily, although I recommend purchasing a film application kit for easier application.

I didn't get a photo of my short dresser before but I added a large one for reference. I love it! It took 3 casters to wrap the entire visible dresser (excluding the rear and inner drawers). I used a credit card as a flat edge and cut it off with a utility knife. It was very easy to apply (provided you watch out for bubbles). I also used a hair dryer to heat the sticky side to make it more sticky in hard-to-reach areas like the edges.

Fits very well. With any contact paper, it is difficult to avoid bubbles. Unfortunately the surface I used it on was a foam board with a smooth laminated paper surface that stuck so firmly that it was difficult to pull to smooth it out. Worst of all, the contact paper buckled on its own backing, wrinkling the coating. Luckily it fits on the wicker rack shelves in the garage where parts of the wicker fell off the shelves so a good cover isn't necessary.

. I really like how it turned out. When I first unpacked it, the product took on the curve of the packaging, but I was able to flatten it out fairly easily. After application I had to move one part within a few seconds of application and the second time it lay down easily. I've been wearing it on blades for a few weeks now and so far it's holding up great. Up close the texture of the wood looks wrong to me, but from a distance it looks great! This is personal preference only.

So this is surprisingly good quality. I've never used contact paper so I had no comparison with it but after installing it and deciding to use contact paper on other furniture I can say it's really great quality! I was hoping my table would be one of them. from the "real user reviews" that the seller uses as the product image, but I didn't do it very well. I saw mixed reviews and didn't know what to expect. I would say that the color of the wood matches the advertising image - the lighting makes it darker or lighter. I have 3 lamps around the table so it got brighter for me. Adhesion depends on the surface. I had a vinyl surface and it sticks. I don't expect any problems with this.
