My son had this bag for his football club so when it came time to replace my daughter's football bag it was a no brainer. Much better than the previous design and they typically last around 4 years or more with heavy use multiple days of the week and weekends. I have been playing football for 28 years, I carry traditional football bags with me. This backpack easily fits all my soccer gear, including 2 sets of size 11 soccer shoes. Thoughtful design, space is not wasted. I will never carry around an unnecessarily bulky and clunky duffel bag again and neither will my kids. I am very disappointed in this bag. I thought it would be perfect for my son who plays soccer while traveling. We've had it less than 2 months and one of the hand strap buckles broke. I think the material of this bag looks and feels cheap considering how much I have to pay for the bag. However, this isn't a big issue as I bought this bag for the functionality and not the looks. The mesh bag to store your boots in is too small for a size 10 basketball shoe. I was so disappointed as I only bought the bag because it has a shoe compartment.
