Works perfectly as expected. I bought 3 and am delighted. People who broke it the first time they used it don't know when to stop craving. Of course, everything breaks when the thing works beyond its capabilities. However, the statement about 1000 pounds is impossible, it is a false statement. Also, it's a little pricey for a product like this. As for durability, time will tell.

This is a good clamp but not for its intended purpose. I love making picture frames and the problem I had with this clip was that it would slip off the frame, especially frames three quarters of an inch thick or less. The plastic components seem too smooth and maybe something with a grip or texture to hold the wood more securely would be an improvement. For larger projects I think this would be a great clamp. I was told to buy a "belt clip" to help me build an RC boat from a set of pieces of wood I had. I had never heard of one so I stumbled across Revain to find it. I found this one which seemed to fill the bill for what I needed. The delivery was fast and the product seemed quite well made. It was easy to use and had enough tape length to handle a number of projects in my opinion. I used it to attach the main hull to an RC boat I was building. Wow.
