Depending on the weight of the TV (we had almost 60#) the pole from the ceiling to the TV is not completely vertical and plumb. Weight that an outrigger introduces because the center of gravity (the TV mount bracket sticks out almost 4 inches forward) is not directly below the ceiling suspension point. Switching to a newer, thinner 40# TV corrected most of the deviation.

I hung it on the wall in front of my desk. I used a small 3" x 1" piece of board to fasten it to the wall attach. to hold the screws of the mount. It is ideal for use as a monitor or TV. Full articulation means you can move it in any direction. up, down, side to side. Couldn't find a wall mount that comes with it a samsung tv/monitor will work as there is a protruding piece of plastic where the monitor stand attaches no problem with this wall racket nicely done good quality highly recommended

I bought this as a Christmas present for my mum, an old 2009 Toshiba 32 inch flat screen and it works great! The only downside was putting all the pieces together. It rotates left to right which is a plus. I would definitely buy it again if it was less than $20 because I had to take the time to put everything together. Also she retired and bought an RV so we had to find a bolt on the ceiling to attach the bracket to the post and we can get 2 screws to mount it and it seems to be working fine…
