Worked great under my western saddle on top of my regular pad. My high withered skinny gelding has been a tough fit while he gains muscle mass. This pad filled in those uncomfortable gaps under the saddle. You can't even see the half pad which is great so I can use it in a show without worrying about it peeking out.

This has been a great little pad and affordable too. It comes with ample inserts for whatever adjustment you might need. I needed it for the last couple months in between yearly saddle fitting.
