You can stick one end in a post, but the other end is in a wall board or something. Before attaching the rails, you must first screw another board to the wall. I love these colors, silver is a great elegant look. Even if they are very small. We put them on one of the walls and we need LOTS more to fill at least half the wall. If you hang things on all the hooks and use all the holders, the items will overlap and not all of them will fit well on the hangers. They could have been distributed further. Mine doesn't have the center screw holes. The clamping force on the broomsticks is strong enough to stretch and bend the center section after a few uses. I ended up drilling and countersinking a few screws to make it more secure. Not sure what that mark meant to leave the center section slack when this mount/organizer is subjected to heavy pulling on a regular basis. The surface quality is really good and the stainless steel plate is thick, but the flex is obvious when you pull it when items…
