I love it - it's so cute. I'm afraid they will be cold in winter. But in summer, I think it will be a good cooling pad for them. It really brings their habitat to life :) !

Received this as it was advertised under a chinchilla bathtub and I have a chinchilla baby. It's glass, so if your pet likes to chew, I'll be careful. It's also very small. It only fits a hamster sized animal, so don't buy it for something bigger. It is very cute but maybe not so convenient for pets as if they could break it and swallow the jar when they chew.

Exactly as described, arrived in excellent packaging and very well finished. Right color and good size for my little mouse! Too small for a rat and cozy for a stuffed hamster. I can highly recommend it for mice or dwarf hamsters. My shell does not sleep, but climbs on it and climbs into it, I also hide goodies there. Your pet may not sleep in it as it is quite open but I'm sure he will use it.

I bought this for a summer cage theme thinking it wouldn't do much good but my Syrian hamster LOVES this little skin! This is the first place he goes when he wakes up. The shell is a nice cool place to brave our summer heat. Since it's his favorite skin, I'm guessing seashell will be in every cage theme I make :-) The only issue I've had is the light color, but that's cosmetic only and my hamster definitely doesn't need it.

I was very pleased with this conch shell but unfortunately it was broken into many pieces when I received it. I still wanted to see how it should look like. So I temporarily glued it on and saw that it would be really good.
