This worked great with the Uniden BCD436HP scanner, I used the adapter that came with the scanner and it does exactly what I need.

This antenna gives great reception on my SDS100. Fits perfectly even without the included adapter. Because it is flexible, it travels with no problems.

On my SDS-100 I have full bands over about 15 km with the factory antenna, which is definitely not the ideal antenna for 800 MHz reception. This antenna didn't even break squelch and didn't even show 1 band.

Works better than the rubber ducky antenna that came with the scanner. I've been using a 2M antenna at home and when I decided to take the scanner outside I was disappointed with the rubber ducky. Antenna was bought because I have a scanner with SMA connector and scanners with BNC connectors. I used an adapter for SMA. The antenna works better than a standard duck. I wanted to remove the adapter to use the antenna in a BNC connection but the adapter is not approved. It's in the antenna. Now I can only use the antenna on the scanner with an SMA connection.
