Worth a try Replacement Parts

Easy to install, still need to lift the car to remove the protective plate when removing the original airbox. The rest of the installation is quick and easy. The intake noise is good.

Small Mod for Ram Air Kit

Small Mod for Subaru Forester 2016 XT. Installation took about an hour due to the lack of required tools. I have the feeling that the car behaves more aggressively. The sound is great when the throttle is pressed. In terms of mpg I see my car averaging 22.8. I'm always stuck in traffic. I've had it for 2-3 months with no problems. This does not void your warranty.

Good performance and great sound, but the filter falls out of the air intake without modification.

Installation was fairly easy using standard tools. There is nothing on the inlet to hold the filter in place and I had issues with the filter slipping off the inlet. Finally I did a rough powder coat on the end of the air intake to give the filter some grip and prevent it from slipping off. Plus it sounds fantastic and I definitely feel the extra power it gives.

AEM makes it again! I've been using AEM products for years and have never been dissatisfied with their filters and air intakes and this is no different. The 2017 Subaru Forester XT had between 25 and 26.49 mpg (actually, no computer 'guess') before installing AEM. Inlet. Ordered an AEM dose from JEGS (via Revain) and the dose arrived a few days later (arrived 6 days early!). Installation was quick and easy, less than 30 minutes of slow-paced work.
