Please rescale MAF sensor

AEM makes it again! I've been using AEM products for years and have never been dissatisfied with their filters and air intakes and this is no different. The 2017 Subaru Forester XT had between 25 and 26.49 mpg (actually, no computer 'guess') before installing AEM. Inlet. Ordered an AEM dose from JEGS (via Revain) and the dose arrived a few days later (arrived 6 days early!). Installation was quick and easy, less than 30 minutes of slow-paced work. However, this quick setup time may be due to the fact that I had already done a turbo hose clamp upgrade (boost leaks) and was reasonably familiar with the intake system. Family around until the gas light came on and found that taking the AEM increased our mpg to 27.22 on that tank of gas! That 1/4 tank of fuel increased the overall tank average by 4%, if not a little more. The turbo also sounds really nice when my foot turns forward ;) I also noticed that the oil temperature dropped a few degrees after installation? 91 octane fuel is currently over $2.37 a gallon in my area, which is 4% less fuel. Fuel is added fairly quickly. that's about $46 a year in fuel savings based on $2.37 a gallon and how many miles I drive each year. then I save an additional $17 every year by washing and reusing an AEM air filter instead of buying and throwing away an old Subaru disposable OE air filter. and AEM is currently having a $25 mail order discount this month, I just couldn't resist after the discount :) I'll be adding some gold heat shield tape to help shed excess heat off the metal. otherwise great stuff as always, AEM (and JEGS) *EDIT* The car has been given multiple tanks of 30+mpg gas and after installing that intake system it's still not under the mid 27mpg. I'm consistently getting 10 to 22 percent more miles per gallon, which saves over $9 every time I fill up my gas tank. and AEM also promptly sent a check for a $25 rebate! I'll get some Perrin parts (intercooler/turbo/intake pipe), COBB AccessPort and finally this Pro-Tuned monster, should end up fluctuating between 29 and 30+ mpg all the time after all is said and done** 2nd edit: TurboTek's Pro-Tune was good, but always felt a little off at idle and part load. concluded that the MAF was never properly scaled (AEM says this is not necessary). So I went ahead and paid for the EFI and COBB Accesstuner tuition (I didn't need this as I passed all the "tests" in less than 3 hours without paying attention to the video) and measured the MAF myself. Using this air intake ensures that your tuner is scaling the MAF sensor to the correct grams per second. AEM was close, but even a 1% gram change per second is still too much for a Subaru ECU to be happy in the long run. Even with full ProTuned tuning, expect just a few (2 to 7) horsepower and a torque boost. If you want a real performance boost, get a 3" air intake from another company. Had about 30 hp and thrust gains from my testing with K&N and Mishimoto intakes. Of the three I've tried, Mishimoto's was a lot easier to set up the MAF if you set it up yourself ;)
