Bonnet Pins work great on my carbon fiber hood. Installation wasn't too bad once I got rid of the need to trim the beautiful hood. Carbon fiber looks really good! Overall I am happy with these hood buttons.

great fit and quality don't let the cheaper version fool you, I bought them and they really weren't that good (cheap version). When I bought THIS I was really surprised at the fit, quality and strength of these hood pins. I recommend them to everyone for cheaper fakes. worth every penny.

My personal opinion is that you should stay away from carbon fiber aerocatch as they don't look like real carbon fiber at all. The photos don't show how cheap they look with this painted CF. I was planning on putting them on a real CF hood and I brought them back on the first page. I'm sticking with black after seeing them.

I have used several styles of Aerocatch hood latches, the best latches. But in this case the carbon is just the original black caps which were made from water dipped carbon so they are not carbon caps just made to look like carbon and not a very nice looking carbon either. Get Aerocatch closures, but save money by getting the original instead.

The screw heads are two different colors of black and I used tape on the product to form the center line to properly seal my new $700 carbon fiber hood to install . . The tape ripped the fake carbon fiber off the product and completely made me wish I had never spent money on this product. Now I'm forced to use this junk because no other flush mounts will cover those huge holes you'll need to cut in your new hood. I guess now I have to buy my own aftermarket gear, sand the front of the product…

I put these on Olds 442 67, of course there was nothing like that back then, I doubt anyone dreamed of carbon fiber products at all. The car is bright yellow and those black bars look perfect. They are mounted on a curved fiberglass canopy and help stabilize it from swaying in the wind at speed. So overall, the look and feel, they are exactly what the doctor ordered ie Dr.Olds.
