Be sure and scroll down to see the real picture of what this thing does. It's a little deceptive, but it's not a bad product. Well made and projecting spinning lights in the shape of snowflakes. It was way cooler than just a close-up projector across the room. You should rename it instead of the top of the tree. If you place it on a tree, you severely limit its abilities. It's good for the price, just slightly mislabeled in my opinion.

I like the concept BUT it was too heavy to stay at the top of my tree. It will fall no matter how hard I try to secure it. Also, you must have very high ceilings to even see the effect. At least three or four feet from the top of your tree to the ceiling. Otherwise you get basically nothing. I was sitting on the floor. In order to achieve an effect, it had to be projected from the floor to the eight-foot ceiling. My picture with him is on the ground, not on the tree.

I ordered two of these to keep snow from falling on the wall behind my sofa and one had to be returned as the mechanism didn't work. The company immediately sent a replacement and the new one works great. They make a noise when turning, but not too loud. Unless you have vaulted ceilings or very short timber it will not project well onto the ceiling. The projector mechanism can be tilted 90 degrees to project the image onto the wall at treetop height. Inexpensive for what they are.

Our tree is very large and its height actually extends into our stairwell, with this treetop with star snowflake projector it really gives it additional charm on the stairwell ceiling! It looks like something straight out of a Disney park, we love it. Even our puppy looks up and wags his tail at the "snow" on the ceiling, it's so cute! 10/10 would buy again, great price compared to other similar listings charging higher fees for the same or very similar item!

If that's for a children's Christmas tree in the bedroom, I think that's enough. Or if you have low ceilings. My goal was to be part of the top of my 9 foot tree. The quality is ok, no problems, everything works. 3 stars mainly for the narrow projection it throws onto my ceiling. Lol first I had to read and watch the full review of "spectacular snow tree top" as they used 6 of them to to create this wonderful show. At the same time, the star is beautiful, and the snowflakes give it an extra touch. I'm glad I bought this star! I was very hesitant at first as the star looked pretty "cheap" in the listing photos. It looks cheap but looks great on my Christmas tree. We bought this star for our 10ft tree. We thought the grandchildren would love it. It projects snowflakes onto a 14-foot ceiling. Based on the 4 foot difference, I would estimate the circumference to be around 3 feet. The only downside I could find was that the pre-lit tree had a warmer clear light while the star had a brighter blue/white LED light.
