I'm glad I bought this star! I was very hesitant at first as the star looked pretty "cheap" in the listing photos. It looks cheap but looks great on my Christmas tree. I love the projection of falling snow! You can adjust the angle of the projector 180 degrees within the star. My tree is about 6 feet tall, so I turned the projector to the left of the ceiling for a larger projection area. The farther the projector is from the ceiling, the more snow falls. The projected image is brightest in a dark room, but is fully visible in a lighted room at night (see my photos).
