Fun project! - Axle Back Systems

I got this to replace the stock muffler on my 2015 Jeep Wangler. Installing the aFe muffler itself was pretty easy, but removing the stock muffler was PITA for me. You'll definitely want to have a WD-40, pliers, and a ratchet set handy. If your exhaust pipes are rusted like mine, you may need additional tools like a propane torch; or a cutting tool (e.g. a Dremel). For most Jeeps, this should take an hour without a buddy, but I live in a humid environment and love mud, so here it is. The…

Almost perfect for axle back systems

I installed this on my new 2015 so I think you can add space 15 to the install list. Removing the old muffler was a little tricky as the rubber insulation was stiffer than anything I've seen on my last six cars (I've done exhausts on every car I've had), but that's not the kit's fault . Good sound! Parts Information

Benefits: - 4 lbs lighter than stock muffler - Stainless steel, therefore less prone to rusting than stock muffler - Much smaller than stock muffler; less chance of hitting rocks and easier to work under the car, especially the diff sounds better than the stock muffler. Cons: - muffler leaked when installing mine; I had to get an exhaust sealant to fix it. All in all a great product. This muffler doesn't fart so it doesn't sound like picture. Sounds great compared to the stock muffler. You…

14 Year Jeep JKU with aFe Mach4 Rear Axle

I am very picky when I buy upgrades for my Jeep. As an engineer, I have a habit of researching everything carefully before making a purchase. I was very skeptical about the reviews I found about this exhaust. I had three main areas of interest that were important to me. 1.) Street Drone…. 2.) Sound quality... 3.) High ground clearance. My Jeep has soundproofing installed in all of the interior door panels, on the rear passenger floor and under the MOPAR headliner on the hard top. I run 5.13…
