AFe Power Silver 46 33009 Throttle Review

When I tried this throttle, my car's acceleration was noticeably improved. The increased air flow makes a difference in performance. The only downside is that installation can be tricky and may require professional assistance.

Delivery was quick. Paid a little extra for faster delivery. Ease of installation. The instructions were clear. I also install a K&N cold air intake at the same time. Definitely a performance gain after installing both updates. The problem is that the spacer emits a very annoying howl at low throttle. Almost to the point where the spacer gain isn't worth the noise it makes. The cold air intake and spacer combination increases fuel economy by 2mpg.

I am pleased with my purchase of the AFE TB Spacer for my Ranger 4.0. The installation took about 15 minutes, all the necessary parts came with a spacer, there were no problems. no increase in mpg but a noticeable increase in low-end reception. It also has a nice little hiss just to let you know it's there. It won't throw you back in your seat, it's an $80 bolt, but there's a slight gain in reception and there's a bit of noise.
