Great headset for the price. I use a shock pack (back paddles for an xbox controller) and with a microsoft headset it sent a buzzing noise to all the band members when i spoke. This headset solved the problem immediately. The sensitivity is AMAZING, it doesn't pick up other sounds in the room even when your game is at full volume. However, you'll need to bring the microphone arm closer to your mouth to ensure your voice is transmitted.

I came to edit my review to provide more information. I bought this headset for my son who has an Xbox and he says everything works great. I bought another headset at the same price for my son because he has a playstation. The other headset was returned twice. When my youngest didn't have a headset, he used this headset on his game console and said it was really good. I bought him another headset yesterday and it was delivered today.

I have never dropped this headset, I always put it off after playing, away from any danger. I've had this headset for about 2 months, maybe a few weeks less - after prolonged use it basically toggled between mute and unmute (arguably my most abused headset feature) and something weird happened: when the mic was muted, the Volume I can hear my friends going up at the party (but they are still VERY LOW).
