Amazing so far: In-ear headphones

Longtime AfterShokz customer here. I had the Titanium model for 2 years, then switched to the Air model. I didn't think they could sound more comfortable or better, but this model somehow combines both. Couldn't be happier. The lack of water protection was my only criticism of previous models, including this one. I'm glad they upgraded the battery on this model as well, as I was a bit disappointed with the Air's battery life. Every time I buy AfterShokz they are the best headphones I have everโ€ฆ

Aeropex VS Air - Best in-ear headphones

I used to have a Trekz Air. I bought it because I wanted a louder sound. It seems a little louder. I also like the thinner profile. The great thing about this version is that skipping to the next song (double click) actually works. Trekz Air always put that stupid thing on hold. I'm not a fan of a magnetic charger just in case I lose a cable. This includes a second pair. I would have preferred if they used USB C. Apparently they saved space by removing the female adapter from the device. Youโ€ฆ

Great for situational awareness, good upgrade for Trekz Air

Tl;dr - Overall an additional upgrade for Trekz Air but still a great outdoor product. If you're looking at these, you're probably familiar with Aftershokz products - open-air bone conduction headphones. Aeropex is another great product based on Trekz Air. Very quickly, if you have a Trekz Air and you're completely happy with it, it's probably not worth upgrading - not because it's not great, but because the Trekz Air was already really good. Yes, the sound quality is better, but notโ€ฆ

Poor sound quality + poor bass performance + annoying vibrations

I've done a lot of research online and these $160 bone conduction headphones should be the best out there. I had high hopes for them but was very disappointed with the poor sound quality. I tried different angles and positions but couldn't get much bass out, and when I did it sounded muffled, distorted and vibrated annoyingly in my head. Highs and mids were mediocre at best and could be compared to the sound of cheap sub-$10 headphones at a thrift store. They were small and not very noisy in my

They ruined this model's mic(s)

I had a pair of Trekz Airs and loved them. They were comfortable, sounded great, and were AMAZING for phone and video calls. I saw them and decided to give my Trekz Air to my wife and upgrade it. My first pair had a weird rattling noise when I shook them a little. I also started getting complaints from people I had spoken to on the phone and video chat. Nobody else could hear me. I thought the rattling might be the mic so I started the warranty process by contacting support on 7/28/2019. Theyโ€ฆ

I hate leaving reviews. That's how much I love these headphones

Seriously, I hate doing this. And I run an online business and I know how much reviews mean on Revain and other marketplaces. I still hate making them. But this is the best headphone I have ever used. So they deserve it. I tried Beats, Bose and many others to find the right one for my specific needs. I wanted a pair of bone conduction headphones (witchcraft) because I would wear them to work many hours a day and wouldn't feel comfortable. with in-ear headphones - check. They are veryโ€ฆ

Buy the cheaper Trekz Air, it really works better

This is one of the most disappointing products I have ever bought. I love my Trekz Air and was thrilled to upgrade to the 33% more expensive Aeropex to see how great the technology can be. What I got was much worse: 1. The packaging tries to shame the iPhone by making me wonder how much of the purchase price they wasted. I hope the pretty girl on the threesome ate a cheeseburger before she started her run because she can't weigh more than 105 pounds with all her makeup on and can pass outโ€ฆ

don't love her I don't want to live without her!

I mainly ordered these for cycling and when I really need to keep an eye on my surroundings. You get knocked out the first few times and it seems like your head is still getting phantom vibrations. (Imagine roller skating or stepping out of a boat, you still have a sense of movement... But it passes quickly, and after a week the feeling has become the new normal. Of course it's vibration, not movement, me hope you understood the description) SO โ€ฆ. Great for listening and being aware of yourโ€ฆ
