They ruined this model's mic(s)

I had a pair of Trekz Airs and loved them. They were comfortable, sounded great, and were AMAZING for phone and video calls. I saw them and decided to give my Trekz Air to my wife and upgrade it. My first pair had a weird rattling noise when I shook them a little. I also started getting complaints from people I had spoken to on the phone and video chat. Nobody else could hear me. I thought the rattling might be the mic so I started the warranty process by contacting support on 7/28/2019. They didn't respond until 06/08/2019 when they confirmed the rattle was a warranty issue and I had to make a warranty claim, which I did immediately. You only responded to this warranty request on 08/12/2019. Impatient (I used to use my Trekz Air for calls several times a week). I started a refund with Amazon on 8/10/2019 and they had a replacement on 8/13/2019. Luckily my second pair didn't have a rattle. They seem perfectly normal, but then again, people's constant complaints about phone and video calls. I really want to like them, they're smaller, lighter and more comfortable, but I just can't give up on the call quality. I will return them and get another pair of Trekz Air. Update: I bought another pair of Trekz Air and received them on August 15, 2019. On my very first phone call to my parents, they exclaimed that I sounded great, very clean, and better than I had in weeks. I wish they had talked about bad sound quality earlier, but I think that's confirmation that Aeropex had terrible mics or something.
