Size and cost of protective equipment

Size does not fit. I wear a 7 1/2 hat which is smaller than her tall hat and I could barely put it on. They then tried to make me pay for the return shipping. The helmet itself seems good but I wouldn't know as I can't wear and ride it.

Great helmet for the price!

Just upgraded to this one from a similar Icon helmet. At less than half the price, this helmet blows the icon out of the water. Looks great, has fantastic padding and a fold down sun visor. My only complaint is that the outer screen protector has too many protrusions and corners to be completely free of distortion. Good sales and subsequent customer service by the seller.

Great helmet: helmets

helmet received in just 2 days. Everything about this helmet is exactly what I was looking for. Everything seems to be well built. The large ones fit my head perfectly, but the check pads were too tight on my jaw. But the GOOD thing about AFX helmets is that you can buy and swap out more cheek pads. In the end you get an individual helmet fit. I will buy thinner pads and see how they fit. Great helmet. I see no reason to buy something 2-3 times more expensive.

I really want this helmet but it just doesn't fit. This helmet is ROUND.

Like most people in the US, I have an oval head. This helmet is a round helmet. While it's packed with great features, quality parts and such, it just doesn't fit or feel comfortable. The helmet shifts on my head, especially at speed, and twists my neck since it has so much room to generate momentum when turning. The visors are great, clear and properly positioned. The locking points are solid and can be fully opened or barely opened for ventilation, even at highway speeds. The tinted drop down
