When I purchased this item (from seller MYBATTERYSUPPLIER) it cost between $1-$2 for the entire pack of 10 batteries. A set of 3 batteries is a whopping $13 at our local electronics store! Given the low price listed here I was willing to take the risk of buying a few unexploded batteries and even if only one battery worked it would still be cheaper than store bought batteries.
