🐟 Aloha Tuna with Seafood & Crab - Against The Grain Canned Cat Food (24/2.8 oz) Review

I called to find out what mackerel is used in Captain's Catch flavor and they said they had to ask management but they didn't answer me. I wrote an email and did not receive a reply. King mackerel is very high in mercury. Pregnant women cannot eat high. I also don't like buying pet food made outside of the US. While this brand's dog food is made in the USA, their cat food is made in Thailand.

I honestly can't confirm the taste from personal experience but my cat seems to think it's the only acceptable taste in the world. She regularly demonstrates that she is starving rather than eating anything else. Personally, this scent puts me off a bit. The cat doesn't care what I think, and my wife is siding with the cat in this matter. Sounds unlikely, but I think the tablet is less obnoxious since we switched to it. It might actually be better for cats not to eat grains.

I bought a box of 12 cans of Evanger's and no one ate them after I opened 3 cans. I was surprised they have this line too, after opening 3 flavors (only Pasha liked these) I found out it contained tapioca and xanthan gum. I wish these companies would stop changing or adding products that our pets don't want or have trouble with. Not sure I'll be continuing this line, although other flavors are licking their shells. I'm damn confused. The 3 star rating should be 5 if not for the undesirable…
