Good tool for bikers

Good tool for bikers, a bit flimsy in my opinion but does the job. The extra bit comes from the tool kit and is very easy to lose, I've already lost mine. I think the tool is a bit bulky and difficult to carry in a tool bag, but I carry it in my jersey back pocket.

Pros
  • Solid workmanship
Cons
  • Working speed

Falls apart before use.

This is a very poor quality. It fell apart before use. In theory, this Allen key can be repaired. However, I still need two Allen keys. I might borrow sockets from my neighbors, or I might just throw them away. It's definitely not what I was hoping for.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good for $ in cycling

Low quality. The casting of the chain breaker is very porous. The chain release lever spins freely and dangles. I wrap it with a rubber band so I don't go crazy. The price makes up for the quality. It looks like it will work. A little heavier and bulkier than originally thought. Although it looks like it can handle any bike repair.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The tool was great at first, liked the price and looked beautiful ! My chain broke on the trail and I took a tool that was designed to use a chain brake tool and the chain breaker pin just bent up and the tool broke. I wasn't expecting it to be so cheap, once I started using it it left me stranded. So I would give this product 3 stars!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I'll write later

Solid Tool is the best in cycling

This was a lot cheaper than the other unrated option. I took a risk and it worked out great. I just converted my 1998 Dback MTB with it and it handled the pressure well. It's a lot wider than previous tools I've used which gives it a good grip when tightening. But it takes up more space in your tool bag. The chain tool on it wasn't secured well and would dangle around during use, but it's an easy buy when others of comparable quality cost 300% less.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • So far so good

The circuit breaker is not good

The circuit breaker on this tool is completely useless. You can also just take it off as it cannot repair marks. I tried using this to remove a few links from a new chain and the only thought it broke was on its own. The rest of the tool is what you would expect for $8. functional. No more and no less. If it didn't have a circuit breaker I'd say it's totally worth the price and I'd recommend it. Expect to have to tighten the screws holding it together, maybe add some Loctite to keep them fromโ€ฆ

Pros
  • While satisfied
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Cheap excellent better than I expected

read other reviews I thought it was very cheap. But there is actually some weight behind it. the chain tool wobbles a bit, but tightening the crossheads on the sides keeps it in place. The ONLY issue I see is the loss of expander rest. And don't leave it near a water bottle as it will surely rust. But it's a good basic kit for trail repairs, and that doesn't mean it has to be heavy, easy, and cheap! Pretty much everything you need even a circuit breaker although not great but it was $8 what you

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • functionality
