One of the pieces, the largest, is broken off and lacking paint. Striking still in plastic. The plastic is torn on one corner and has a very strong smell, raising doubts about the non-toxic paint. The paint on the smallest piece looks like dirt, not purple. Don't think we'll keep it.

I bought these because I was reluctant to spend the money Grimm was asking. I've been impressed with it so far. I've compared them to my big Grimm rainbow and they should fit you well. I will amend my review after Christmas if it needs editing as my kids won't be able to play with it until then. Nice. happy!

These half circles are a great addition to our Rainbow stacker. They are durable, colorful and make great build platforms. They also make a great roof for our small world activities as we lay out rainbow arches and add small animals and accessories. I love how versatile these half circles are and the colors complement the stacker really well.

Surprised by the rave reviews which convinced me to buy these along with Grimm style rainbow rings. Manufactured from a pressed sheet of wood-like plywood with very rough corners and edges. Striped color on many items, especially purple. You must keep them with rainbow rings for functionality but definitely not quality for the price. There doesn't seem to be any other way like this.

The stackers arrived in an opened box. Which is nice, because in our case it can easily be wrapped for Christmas. Not unpacked yet, but the colors are shining. I wish there was a bit more difference between the colors because the color pair is very close. For these and the next listed reasons I docked the star. Also have these and the N&M rainbow from Revain. Both are good and at a good price. And I mean, that's nothing like BC. Grimm I don't have a Grimm toy but if it wasn't for Grimm this would be a great buy at $30-$50 apiece. No cracks or odors. Or oddities. withstood. Nice. A lot of fun.
