Nice little device. works as it should. I was a little disappointed that it didn't work with Alexa, but that's my fault, I misread the box, they never said it would work with Alexa. Since it was so cheap and really works, I decided to keep it and only get push notifications through the app.

The sensor was pretty easy to set up and link to my Smart Life account as I remembered switching to a 2.5GHz network. Although the seller answered the previous question that it works with Alexa, it actually doesn't. If Smart Life integration suits you, you should be fine. If you need a water sensor that works with Alexa, look elsewhere. My purchase has been returned.

This product did a great job when the basement drain pump failed. The app reports that the battery is empty after only nine months of use (despite the stated 18 months of battery life). However, we have had many worries in the last two months. The alarms allowed me to manually turn the sump on as needed if the float switch failed. It feels a bit flimsy/cheap, but not in a place where durability is an issue. For the price and how much it saved on potential flood damage, highly recommend.
