Don't listen to other comments. I thought I screwed up when my Samsung remote broke. I had no idea how I would handle bass, treble and specific sound modes. I came across this remote control (after a long search) and am more than happy with it. It is an exact copy and works perfectly! I will definitely buy it again if the need arises!

Connects automatically, but that's where the good news ends. You have to be right in front of it to work. A little annoying, but it works in the end. You just have to wrestle with it a little. EDIT: So I just needed new batteries which I thought I put in originally. Totally my fault and my apologies for blaming the manufacturer for user error. Actually works very well. I will upgrade to 5 stars

Slightly lighter and feels different than the original remote, but I didn't even have to pair it! Things get lost with 2 year old twins which is why I am so thankful I was able to get this replacement remote at such a great price! Works great no complaints! Works immediately after inserting the batteries and that's it! Thank you thank you thank you!

When there is a 3 year old and 18 month old in the house the remote controls run away and are never seen again. I bought it thumbs up it will work. I've had it for about two months with almost daily use and it works great. Didn't have to tether it or anything, it worked straight out of the box on a couple of batteries. I will buy it again when the boys play hide and seek with it.

After our pup chewed on the remote that came with our soundbar, I started looking for a replacement that shouldn't have cost $50 direct from Samsung. I found this on Revain, got it in 2 days for less than $8.00, put in 2 AA batteries and just when I was like "Hey, I was wondering if there will be instructions on how to pair this remote with the soundbar ", the device has just earned . Your own lol - no complaints here.

I can't comment on how well this remote works or doesn't work. I wasn't expecting the same quality as my Samsung OEM remote but thought I could at least put batteries in it. I tried all the tricks to open it mentioned in the comments of other people having the same problem but the back cover wouldn't budge. It looks like it was cast in one piece. This is without a doubt the worst item I have ever received over the internet in the last 15+ years.

Ordered to replace the lost console. The first one I got I couldn't open the battery compartment so I went back and got another one and compared it to another generic one and with the Samsung remote I still have really bad quality both as a replacement and also as the first one I couldn't open the battery compartment so I opened the second one and put the batteries in, it immediately connected to the deck and controlled all the functions. Extremely affordable and quick to install. When I put the batteries in, the remote control was already synced to the sound system. In fact, there was no attitude. Features the same buttons as the standard Samsung remote that came with the sound system.
