Gosh, I'd like to read reviews before buying. It's true, the only thing worth anything is the metal lug. The lock is rubbish, 99% sure it would break if I tug on it quickly. They have such a thin cable, think of that plastic thing at the end of the tip, that's such a thin cable.

Made to keep honest people honest. Use the truck cooler so no one walks away with it. If you're really concerned about security, install metal locks on each end. That's great, but with bolt cutters it doesn't take long and there won't be any more. I've had no problem if I'm willing to go that far

The bracket you run the cable through is too short so you can't thread the cable through the hole in the bracket when the bracket is in place. I had to route the cable through the hole in the bracket and then route the cable and bracket through the radiator. The cable and lock also feel light.

The best thing about this combo pack is the metal part, it's well made and of high quality. The other 2 parts are practically useless. The cable is a thin plastic coated wire and I'm pretty sure any pliers or scissors can cut it. The lock is flimsy and I'm sure I can take it apart with minimal effort.
