Does exactly what I want and does it well.

Excellent mechanism (so far). I have a 1200w 48v array and 24v battery being charged by a Morningstar 30A controller. I run the inverter in battery priority mode and it works exactly as described. At around 23.3 V it automatically switches to alternating current. I disabled the charging function so the array charges the battery and when the bank voltage reaches about 26.5 it automatically switches back to battery power. That's exactly what I wanted. I run a 2.5 amp pond pump that runs 24/7 and…

Great unit! Very happy with it.

I've had this thing offline for over a year now. 540Ah batteries, 1200W panel and so on. 6000W peak power is no joke. This summer I built an outhouse and ran the compressor, chainsaw (worm drive), cut-off saw, saw blades, etc. with no errors! If you try to start the compressor and use the special saw it will sometimes shut down and the compressor will clearly struggle, but I'm sure this is above its rated capacity. The only thing I noticed about this device is that it is only charging. approx…

Solid device as worth the money!

Heavy, strong block. The on/off switch on top feels good, doesn't feel cheap, so I hope it will work well for a long time. The included terminal covers and nuts made it easy to securely connect the 2/0 AWG wire coming from my battery. A weird thing happened to me that makes sense now that I think about it, but a warning/notice on the device would be nice: The device turned on with no problems, but I had to reset the switch on the GFCI socket. on the device before I could get power. This was…

Works perfectly. Hurricane Irma Tested!

I have been using this inverter/charger for a little over a year. My system consists of 1200W Renogy solar panels and 8-6V 230Ah deep cycle batteries connected in series/parallel for a 24V system with a total capacity of 460Ah. I have an AC input hardwired to a main panel pole at home and an AC output hardwired to a sub panel that powers 5 different circuits in my house (master bedroom, kitchen/ living room, family room, washing machine, and refrigerator). I live in Florida so we just had a…
