Description of ๐Ÿ” Essick Air MA1201 Replacement Humidifier Wick Filter: Factory Air Filter for MA-1201 Model

Proudly Made In The USA. Compatible Wick Filter For Models MA1201, MA-1201. Filters Are Reinforced With Aluminum For Maximum Durability. For maximum performance using filtered water is best, hard water can lead to a shorter lifespan of your humidifier filter. Weather is also a factor in the life of your filter. Best option with no harmful chemicals

They are affordable and work well. They could last longer, but they're not that expensive, so replacing them often isn't a big deal. The metal housing does a great job of holding the filter in place, but if you don't replace the filter as recommended, the metal will crack and end up in the water. allegedly harmful chemicals that some other brands use to manufacture their products. Highly recommended!

Doesn't work very well

I found this product to be a decent replacement for the wick in my humidifier and reasonably priced but after installation I found that it doesn't produce moisture like other wicks 40 % in my house, but with this wick it barely reaches 30%. My humidifier is now running all the time where it used to turn on and off and I don't have to refill the water as often so obviously there isn't a lot of water getting into the air. It is not worth. The whole purpose of the wick is to release water into the

Slightly better than the original

I change the filters once a week during the high humidity season. There is always a ring of mineral deposits at the top of the filter. I've found that I can soak the deposits in white vinegar for about 30 minutes by rolling them so they stand upright in a round cake pan and adding just enough vinegar to cover the deposits. After the soak, I rinse the entire filter while lying on the grate in the tub. I keep using the same filter, but the original filter is very fragile when wet. The replacement

Be careful not to increase the humidity! do not buy.

We've been using this new filter for about a week to rate its effectiveness and it barely increases humidity. The filter my aircare came with sometimes raised the temperature in the room to 40, at least 30, this filter allowed to raise the humidity only to 28 and in most cases less than 20. It's much thinner than the original. Not to mention you'll have to trim it yourself, which isn't a big deal, but if this thing doesn't even add moisture to your room, why bother? I spend my day and my nightโ€ฆ

Terrible. Don't waste your money

I bought these because the ones I used before were getting more expensive. Don't waste your money. I use humidifier filters that last about 2 months. I haven't changed anything. Still using the same bacteriostatic. I installed one of them at the beginning of the heating season. Around mid-November. As the holidays approached, I noticed that my humidifier was running most of the time. Which was unusual as it wasn't really that cold and my heater wasn't working that hard.
