Eliminates turbo lag, increases throttle response, fuel economy and power (CARB compatible) +24 hp 2.7 ecoboost

Air Intake Kit AIRAID 400-338 (CARB incompatible) The Airaid website and product information give indicates that it is CARB compliant. Easy installation. looks great! tight fit on the turbo lines. came together in less than an hour after full disassembly and reassembly. With the SS cover, sound amplification is minimal if you want to keep noise levels down and appreciate how quiet the cabin is and how well insulated it is. With the cover removed, air noise and turbine noise are more pronounced.

very good optics, details and not difficult

45 minutes installation, very good optics, details and not difficult. This can be done by anyone with minimal mechanical skills. It's too early to talk about a power increase but with the flow improvements and Dyno's published results I'm confident there can be an 8% increase in power and torque.

A bit expensive, but overall a good cold air intake

I thought that the cold air intake is well made and will last a long time. the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only problem I had was that the washers that came with it didn't fit the screws. They were just a hair too small. I had some that fit in the garage so I just used them. If I didn't have the right ones I'd run to Lowes and wouldn't be too happy about it. The thing looks great under the hood. I don't hear any difference in turbo or engine noise even if I don't close the…
